Project Gallery vs Image Slider

Hello,

I understand the basics of the image slider – is that the only “image carousel”?

For example, can we use one of the project galleries to show static content (no links)?

And, the project gallery, they all look great – I imagine that the images/links go to a specific page in the system so it pulls the right image into the project gallery? Or am I mistaken? Which page/template is that?
