We do not support issues related to site optimization with cache plugins.
I see you are using both SG cache and Jetpack Boost plugins, which may cause conflicts in css, js compression and cache generation.
Please only use 1 plugin and double check cache settings

2. You can create a dev version in a sub folder, then install and customize this dev version.
If you want to migrate to live, you need to use the Duplicator plugin or the All-in-One WP Migration and Backup plugin
