Question on variations and attributes

I added an article inside the site created with Kosi. I have noticed that when I enter variations and attributes they are all visible within the product. Is it possible to have a drop-down menu instead? I wish I could have a drop-down menu for example: COLORS – and a drop-down menu with choose an option where clicking I see all the attributes for that variation. I ask because it is an e-commerce site for picture frames and I have over 50 attributes to insert per article. How can I do?
