Problem with add to basket when products have variants – on shop page

I am having issues with like mentioned in title adding to basket from the shop page when I have variants, once I choose the variant and add to basket it says it has added but then when I go to cart it does not appear..

It looks like the ajax add to cart with variant products is having problems on your site, so I’ve disabled this function and you will be redirected to the single product page to add to cart.
